So it’s after midnight and I’m still here. I lived through two dooms days (1999 and 12/12/12). There’s plenty to reflect on right there. In order to gratify my craving to write a post, I decided to respond to The Weekly Photo Challenge. If I had any concern for my existence beyond Apocalyptic events, that I’m able to write to you would be a surprise. • Retaining Christmas ornaments that are older than my soon to be 21-year-old god-daughter.

• A hawk parking itself on a nearby branch. 

• Finding a gift my mother gave me. I thought I trashed it. It’s missing an ear and it (probably) has chocolate stains on it. But it still makes me smile.
